D<\/span>esigned around a literary theme, Kristin and Alex\u2019s wedding is a real reflection of their 17-year-long love story. Every detail of their beautiful Hudson Valley celebration reflected their personalities to a T.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Kristin wore <\/span>Martina Liana Style 1075<\/span>, a classic lace A-line gown she discovered during her wedding dress shopping trip to Kleinfeld Bridal. She paired it with a purple cascading bouquet for a classic bridal look. The groom matched the bride\u2019s vibe with a standard black and white tux.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Every element of their big day was rigorously curated, and the result was a marriage day full of precious moments. Nelson Malta from <\/span>Drawlines Studio<\/span><\/a> worked their magic behind the camera, and below are some pretty highlights of the of the couple\u2019s big day.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We met at work and have been together for 17 years. We have now a 15-year-old son together, so we had numerous time to arrange for this moment. He proposed on the roof deck of our constructing at midnight \u2014 just the 2 of us, after an evening out. It was perfect!\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Describe Your Bridal Style. How did you Need to Look on Your Wedding Day? Tell us About Your Dress-Shopping Experience.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

I desired to feel like an elevated version of myself. It was very necessary to me that I looked as natural as possible while still being glamorous. My dress, <\/span>Martina Liana Style 1075<\/span>, did exactly that!\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I knew it was the one when my best friend cried as soon as I walked out of the dressing room wearing it \u2014 and it takes loads to make her cry! This wedding gown made me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day and totally able to marry my husband. His face lit up once I walked down the aisle!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Tell us More About Your Wedding. What Were Your Theme and Colours? How did you Make Your Wedding Personal to Your Love Story?\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

We truly wanted our wedding to reflect who we’re as individuals and as a pair\u2014 and above all, wanted the main target just on us. We didn\u2019t have a bridal party or lots of the traditional traditions, but we did have literary-themed tables and other personal touches.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We opted for authors and quotes as an alternative of numbered tables and personalized bookmarks as place cards and favors. Our signature drink was a French 75, and we selected beef bourguignon as one in all our entrees because we love all things French.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We’re an enormous soccer family, too, so our recessional song was the Champions League theme song. My grandmother, who passed away once I was 16, loved calla lilies, so we had them all over the place in her honor.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
