Possibly the most important destination wedding to happen post pandemic, held between 18th and twenty first November 2021, a Delhi based billionaire indulged his 700+ guests by flying them down in chartered jets for the celebrations on the classic venues of Petit Palais, Opera Garnier, Accor Arena Bercy and Château de Chantilly.
All of the guests stayed on the 4 Seasons George V and Prince de Galles- Marriott, at the same time as a team of over 600 from India and France worked behind the scenes to seamlessly orchestrate the mega wedding show.
Here’s what we all know concerning the iconic wedding venues, a few of which were rented by the families with special permission.
Petit Palais is a wonderful mix of traditional and modern architecture. Positioned between Champs-Elysées and Les Invalides, it has a powerful courtyard and outdoor gardens. The hallways and grand porch of the Palace are aesthetically decorated. Their gardens are considered some of the refined venues for evening receptions in Paris.
The Opera Garnier was originally built for the Paris Opera from 1861 to 1875 on the behest of Emperor Napoleon III. This luxe wedding venue offers stunning interior spaces that boast of marvelous sculptures, grand staircases, gilded columns, mosaics and sumptuous chandeliers.
Accor Arena is an iconic indoor sports arena and concert hall positioned in the luxurious neighborhood of Bercy. It hosts some exceptional concert events, shows and sport events.
The Château de Chantilly
Considered to be certainly one of the best jewels within the crown of France’s cultural heritage, The Château de Chantilly was in-built the 14th century on a small rocky island surrounded by a synthetic lake.
