Are you trying to find inspiration on your boho wedding? Look no further than the picturesque wedding of Luxmi and Levi Young in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Featuring the one-of-a-kind north gown from All Who Wander, this whimsical backyard wedding celebrates all things natural and wanderlust!
The bride, a marriage florist herself, commissioned the floral creations from her employer, Kraft & Co. Floral Design. The result was nothing in need of stunning! A lush display of organic neutral roses and greenery was perfectly paired with Luxmi’s bridal bouquet and complemented by a tree swing decorated with intricate vines.
Nothing matched the non-public touches that these two lovebirds put into their big day — from the tables built by the groom himself to the chairs sourced by the couple from local thrift stores, every detail was planned with love, thought and care. The marriage even had written cards to every guest as their place cards, together with custom temporary tattoos designed by their friends that corresponded to their love story – what an incredibly romantic gesture!
Tell us about your proposal…
We were on a hike with our dog Meadow, and we got here across a railroad track. We stayed up there talking about life. When Levi bent right down to get on one knee, I assumed he desired to check with Meadow, so I bent down too. Then he stood up and bent down again. That’s when I spotted, “that is it!”
How did that the All Who Wander north gown was the one?
I desired to appear to be a fairy but still feel like myself! I actually saw the north gown by All Who Wander on Instagram before we were even engaged, so I saved it. Months later, after I was on the lookout for my dream gown, my best friend helped me track down a bridal shop that was having an All Who Wander trunk show. That’s how I ended up visiting Say “I Do” Bridal Boutique and buying the All Who Wander north gown, which was a dream come true.
How did you make your wedding personal to your style and love story?
We wanted our wedding to be very personal! I’m a marriage florist, so the corporate that I work for did all of the flowers. Levi made all of the tables, and we sourced the chairs from thrift stores. Our wedding was in Levi’s mom’s yard, which was our meeting spot for years! We also wrote cards to every of our guests as their place cards. Finally, Levi’s friend designed custom temporary tattoos that corresponded to us and our love story.
What was essentially the most special memory from the day?
Walking down the aisle and hearing Levi take an enormous deep breath through his tears. I also loved all of the speeches our friends gave during our reception.
Cheers to Luxmi + Levi!
