Set amidst the serene surroundings of Alibaug, Laura and Aditya’s wedding was a young union of two worlds beautifully captured through the evocative lens of WeddingSutra Favorite – The Photo Store. Every frame reflected the intimacy, authenticity, and emotional depth of a celebration that went far beyond rituals.
Aditya, a Maharashtrian, and Laura, who hails from San Francisco, selected to rejoice their marriage surrounded by their closest family and friends. The ceremony was marked by warmth and sincerity, with Laura’s daughter playing a central role within the celebrations, adding layers of emotion and tenderness to every moment. From the laughter that filled the haldi to the heartfelt vows exchanged under a cover of marigolds, every detail echoed simplicity and soul.
The marriage festivities began with a joyful Mehendi set in a lush garden with the intense hues of marigold and rose garlands adorning the backdrop. The décor was rooted in Indian tradition — strings of yellow, white, and red flowers making a charmingly rustic aesthetic against the greenery. The Haldi followed in a burst of sunshine tones, where each families, wearing yellow, celebrated with carefree joy.

The marriage ceremony embodied the essence of cross-cultural harmony. Beneath a cover of cascading marigold and mogra strings, Laura looked resplendent in a standard red nauvari saree with a zari border, while Aditya wore a cream sherwani with a golden dhoti. The mandap, adorned with banana leaves, white blooms, and soft gold drapes, reflected classic Maharashtrian aesthetics, intimate yet regal. The celebrations culminated with a chic evening reception where the night was stuffed with laughter, music, and dancing under twinkling lights!
