Tell us about your proposal!
Craig and I had gone to Dubai for a protracted weekend. Craig had said he had booked us dinner on a ship with 30 other people. Whilst going to the pier, I couldn’t see a ship large enough for 30 people, so I began considering we had gone to the mistaken place. At this point, I used to be already ravenous! It was then Craig pointed on the yacht he had booked for just us.
The waiter on board asked me if I’d like some pictures on the front of the boat in front of the Burj Al Arab. The waiter and I went to the front, where Craig then joined us. The waiter was snapping away, and all I used to be saying to Craig was, “I’m so hungry, where is the food?”— not knowing Craig was moments away from asking me to marry him! A number of moments went by, and Craig got on one knee and proposed! It was essentially the most amazing moment of our lives! Suddenly I wasn’t so hungry anymore. We couldn’t stop smiling.

What was essentially the most special memory from the day?
Probably the most special a part of the day for me was definitely the speeches! They didn’t leave a dry eye. It was so beautiful to listen to the entire kind words said about our family and us. They were funny, heartfelt, emotional and overall perfect.

Describe your bridal style. How did you would like to look in your wedding day? Tell us about your dress shopping experience.
Back in 2019, I used to be very open-minded when it got here to finding my dress. I had in my head an idea of what I wanted but didn’t need to rule anything out. I went to the primary bridal shop, which had stunning dresses, but I felt like I had seen similar gowns on other people.
Next, we went to Laura May Bridal, and as soon as we walked in, Essense of Australia D2988 was on a mannequin right in front of me, and immediately, I said, “I would like to try that dress on.” We chosen just a few more different styles, but after I tried on the primary one I selected, I didn’t need to take it off. I loved the cuff detailing and the fit. I used to be surprised that I didn’t have an open back, but I loved the dress a lot that it didn’t trouble me in any respect.
The marriage was purported to be in 2021, but we needed to postpone on account of the COVID-19 pandemic until August of 2022. The dress was held in storage for 2 and a half years. I used to be very shocked I loved the dress as much as I did in 2019 — it was just perfect!

Tell us more about your wedding. What were your theme and colours? How did you make your wedding personal to your love story?
We were on account of get married in 2021 within the United Kindgom in Wales. With COVID -19, we decided to cancel our original wedding venue on account of the actual fact we couldn’t guarantee that relations abroad could travel to be with us. In true Ami and Craig style, we completely modified our mind and decided we were getting married abroad.
This to us was our dream, but we at all times thought that we’d have it at home so more relations could come, and it will be cheaper for everyone else. Nevertheless, for us, it is a once-in-a-lifetime situation and we did what we desired to do. To our surprise, all of our family and friends were so pleased that we had chosen to go abroad to get married, and the vast majority of them were capable of make it to our wedding.
Craig and I should not essentially the most colourful people when it comes to our fashion sense, so I knew that we wouldn’t have any daring colours for our wedding— we decided to go for golds and neutrals. This went perfectly for Santorini because the venue,, and the view itself, is so breathtaking that we didn’t want anything to distract our guests from that. Since it was a destination wedding, we limited how many individuals were invited and due to this fact, the entire day was so intimate. We are able to truly say that everyone that was in attendance truly loves us just as much as we love them.

Cheers to Ami + Craig!
