Andrea and Dominic’s wedding was all about classic and glamorous beauty! Lake Coatepeque in El Salvador provided a wide ranging backdrop for this couple to plan a timeless celebration wearing a blush and lavender color palette. It was a glamorous occasion stuffed with heritage, love and family traditions.
To search out her dream dress, Andrea visited Lovella Bridal in Glendale, California, where she said, “I do” to Essense of Australia Style D3253. This stunning fit and flare all-over lace gown with off-the-shoulder straps fitted her bridal vision flawlessly and makes her appear and feel stunning. The groom looked sharp, wearing a classic black tux that complemented the timeless vibe of their nuptials.
The ceremony took place at a 100-year-old church, where they exchanged vows in front of family and friends. Hanging florals created a luxe garden-like feel for the lakeside outdoor reception where Andrea and Dominic celebrated their happily ever after. Prisma Photo magically captured the moments of their artful photography—you should definitely keep reading this love story’s details below.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR PROPOSAL!
I met my husband after we were in middle school! We were best friends and dated in highschool and college. We decided to part ways as young adults since he was within the military, and we were living on opposite coasts. Once he ended his term, we reunited and didn’t look back.
As for the proposal, Dominic planned a weekend getaway to go glamping, and we hiked early morning to see the sunrise. As we packed up, he surprised me by getting on one knee and asking me to marry him. It was beautiful— just us in nature!

TELL US MORE ABOUT YOUR WEDDING. WHAT WERE YOUR THEME AND COLORS? HOW DID YOU MAKE YOUR WEDDING PERSONAL TO YOUR LOVE STORY?
We got married in Lake Coatepeque, El Salvador—the country my mom is from. We fell in love with the venue. It’s situated near one of the crucial beautiful lakes we now have visited, and we desired to share that place with our family and friends.
We had a standard Catholic ceremony in a small church that had been in that town for over a century. It was the proper setting for an intimate ceremony. When my husband saw me walking down the aisle, he teared up, making me cry as well. It was so emotional after so a few years of being together. Our reception ignored the lake and was the most effective place for us to bop the night away.

Cheers to Andrea & Dominic!
