Consider this Dominican Republic wedding your one-way ticket to paradise! To the delight of their guests, Katherine and Aristy made their Cap Cana destination wedding a full weekend celebration. Guests were welcomed with a cocktail party on the primary night, witnessed the bride and groom exchange vows at a beautiful oceanside ceremony and capped off the weekend with a superb reception and fun pool party.
We will’t get enough of Katherine in her dream wedding dress! She selected to wear Martina Liana Style 1305, and the robe fit her like a glove. From the 3D lace appliqués, plunging neckline and dramatic scalloped train, this design had all of the intricacies she was on the lookout for in a bridal gown.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR PROPOSAL!
On August 22, 2020, during a beautiful, sunny summer day, Aristy got down on one knee and proposed. The background was considered one of our favourite restaurants, overlooking the NYC skyline in an out of doors patio full of cheering onlookers. After some tears and an extended five-second pause, I finally said YES!

DESCRIBE YOUR BRIDAL STYLE. HOW DID YOU WANT TO LOOK ON YOUR WEDDING DAY? TELL US ABOUT YOUR DRESS-SHOPPING EXPERIENCE.
We live in Recent York City, but we knew we were having a destination wedding in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic. Originally, I got caught up on the situation’s hot weather which made me determine quickly on a light-weight wedding dress from a unique designer. After I arrived home from buying that gown, I had easy dress regret and knew it wasn’t the dress for me.
I then began searching online for various dresses at Kleinfeld Bridal and got here across just a few Martina Liana dresses that I loved. I knew I wanted a lovely dress with lace detail, a plunging neckline and a killer train, and that’s once I got here across Martina Liana Style 1305! The perfect part is that once I went dress searching for the second time, Martina Liana Style 1305 was the primary dress that I attempted on, and I immediately knew it was the correct one!

TELL US MORE ABOUT YOUR WEDDING. WHAT WERE YOUR THEME AND COLORS? HOW DID YOU MAKE YOUR WEDDING PERSONAL TO YOUR LOVE STORY?
Our wedding colours were white and gold with touches of greenery, with a really classic and glam theme. We wanted a marriage that was going to be beautiful and timeless. We selected a destination wedding to rejoice our love story with a three-day celebration as an alternative of only one. On Friday, we had welcome drinks, Saturday was the marriage and Sunday, we threw a pool party for our guests. It was the proper weekend full of a lot love and happiness. We were surrounded by our closest friends and members of the family. It was truly such a memorable celebration. If we could do all of it another time, we absolutely would!

WHAT WAS THE MOST SPECIAL MEMORY FROM THAT DAY?
Your complete day was super special since it was an extended time coming. We had been together for 13 years! The marriage day moment that stands out essentially the most was our first look. Aristy, my now husband, had his back turned to me, and I used to be so excited for him to see me in my dream dress. I walked as much as him, and the moment he turned around, he began crying. It was such an exciting, emotional and exquisite moment that we’ll always remember.

Cheers to Katherine and Aristy!
