OK, so I’ve said this persistently, but really today I might love so that you can read today’s wedding blog SLOWLY. It’s the photographs, that are absolute proof that children lift weddings to the following level – after which some. In fact our bride and groom are absolutely stunning and this can be a day stuffed with joy and celebration (and pre-pandemic glad hugs!) – but truthfully, the youngsters make it. You’ll smile, and I hope you’ll chuckle as you scroll through this joyful and relaxed celebration. There simply couldn’t be a more perfect wedding to brighten your Friday and lift your spirits!
As all the time, I even have to introduce a York Place Studios wedding with a note about authenticity – these guys capture real people whose weddings are an excellent mixture of happiness and love and real life. And that’s what’s magic about every wedding these London photographers capture. They’re multi award winning, they’re massively respected amongst wedding photographers and we LOVE their street wedding photography style.
Grab a great old cup of builders tea as you scroll throughout this good Clitheroe wedding! And if you happen to’re planning your day and haven’t booked your wedding photographers yet, we wholeheartedly recommend York Place Studios! They’re based in London and travel worldwide. They’re documentary wedding photographers with a singular and good style, and we promise your wedding album could have a timeless quality within the sense that it is going to bring your wedding to LIFE each time you flick through… even in 50 years’ time. They also have a recent package for micro weddings which I do know will interest those of you planning a scaled back and intimate celebration.
“Kate and Matt’s wedding at Holmes Mill in Lancashire was stuffed with these sorts of moments. The backdrop was perfect: an old textile mill bathed in natural light and stuffed with interesting industrial features and unbelievable reclaimed cinema seating to maintain children and adults alike entertained! The pièce de résistance of this industrious setting was the drinks reception on the Boiler House, stuffed with original mechanics, exposed beams, period character and an enormous 1910 cross-beam within the centre. Add to all this plenty of youngsters running around (bundles of joy and excellent sources for spontaneity!) and so many little moments between the adults and we quickly realised this was a reasonably special venue and a reasonably extraordinary wedding with a number of opportunities to create the characterful, layered and spontaneous images that we love and are known for.” ~ Dom & Liam, York Place Studios
Holmes Mill is a singular Lancashire wedding venue in the guts of Clitheroe. Hold your civil ceremony here, in an industrial old mill setting with reclaimed cinema seats to your guests – it’s just gorgeous! In your wedding reception, the Cottom Room with natural textured partitions and exposed beams adds wow factor for an unforgettable celebration.
