The Prince of Wales sent royal fans right into a frenzy after his official Twitter account, @KensingtonRoyal, released a latest video related to the Earthshot Prize. The transient clip featured Prince William walking in a garden while using his cell phone. The video then shows what the royal is doing together with his phone – adding to a text messaging chat group the newly-announced 15 finalists of the upcoming Earthshot Prize 2022.
The Prince of Wales then shares in the fictional chat a video of himself congratulating the nominees on having their projects chosen amongst 1000’s of other submissions.
Stirring the joy of royal fans, William said within the clip: “Hello Earthshot Finalists for 2022. Great to have you ever on board, you’re doing improbable work and I’m really looking forward to Boston.”
The mention of the upcoming royal trip to the US and the quirky strategy to share the name of the finalists delighted many fans of the Prince.
Taking to Twitter, Sarah Delore (@sarah_delore) said: “Very clever and cute! So looking forward to Earthshot in Boston”.
Speaking in regards to the video and the upcoming trip, social media user mrc (@brigantia__) wrote: “Oh I really like this! And I’m SO EXCITED!”

The Prince and Princess of Wales are as a result of travel to Boston on December 2 for the second award ceremony of the Earthshot Prize, going down a bit of a couple of 12 months after A-listers and leading environmentalists gathered in London to announce the very first five winners of the Prize.

Kate and Prince William have thus far paid only two official visits to the US – first in 2011 after which in 2014.
