This Pennsylvania wedding is soft vintage romance at its finest! Crammed with a neutral color palette and sage green and dusty pink accents, Sequoia and Patrick transformed the Stone Mill Inn right into a garden party with inspiration pulled from classic movies!
We are able to’t get enough of Sequoia in her wedding dress! She selected to wear Martina Liana Style 1305, and the style fit her like a glove. From the 3D organza details, lace appliqués, fit-and-flare silhouette and scalloped train had all of the intricacies she was searching for in a bridal gown. Not to say the flowing train and sparkling crown she had to finish her bridal look!

Tell us about your proposal!
We’ve known we desired to marry one another from the start, however the proposal was unconventional, surprising, and flawless, similar to it was at all times meant to be.
What was probably the most special memory from the day?
Dancing down the aisle with my husband for the primary time to “Dancing within the Moonlight.” It was the purest joy I’ve ever felt in my life — like we could do anything… it was absolutely euphoric!
Describe your bridal style. How did you desire to look in your wedding day? Tell us about your dress shopping experience.
As a bridal consultant myself, I’ve seen a LOT of dresses. I knew I needed something unique and special, unlike anything I had seen before. I had elements I knew I wanted in my gown but went in open to the magic of the experience. I wanted interesting textures, laces and a soft sparkle. I wanted the robe to be easy but complex and to offer off the soft romance vibe. I knew I wanted a gown that at all times kept the attention interested. I discovered exactly that— Martina Liana Style 1305 has something recent to note each time you take a look at it!
I wasn’t expecting to seek out my gown once I did, but when you understand, you understand! Kudos to my bridal consultants at Van Cleve Bridal since it’s hard to make the magic work on someone who knows all of the tricks. I used to be nervous, but it surely really was just a sense that I knew I used to be done looking. My first considered having it on wasn’t of the dress, it was of my fiancée, and that’s how I knew this gown was the one.
Tell us more about your wedding. What were your theme and colours? How did you make your wedding personal to your love story?
We actually wanted an elaborate aesthetic with a very laid-back atmosphere, and I feel we achieved that. The theme was a vintage romantic garden party, which got here from our love of exploring old places, winding gardens and engaging antiques. Our colours were soft, with neutral ivory and beige paired with dusty pink and sage green.
Ever the film fanatic, I drew additional inspiration from favorite movies reminiscent of “Ever After,” “The Secret Garden,” “Twilight,” and mainly every Joe Wright movie. Fun fact: Some decor features were actual antiques we collected over time, which held phenomenal intending to us.
Cheers to Sequoia + Patrick!
