Couples ask us on almost every first call: what is the catch? There is one line item, and we will get to it. Everything else on this page we do for free.
What do we do for free?
- Help you choose your resort and your venue spaces. A shortlist from the 90+ resorts we hold contracts with, matched to your guest count, budget and dates, then the right space for every event before the popular ones go.
- Negotiate your room block. A bigger, well-built block is how couples earn the best perks, and how guests get the lowest rates. We negotiate the package, the block and the fee structure, and we keep negotiating until the wedding.
- Manage the block after it is signed: contract structure, attrition protection, deadline tracking.
- Help you with vendors. Sourcing photographers, decor and entertainment, and registering outside vendors with the resort so nobody is turned away at the gate. You can also browse our vendor marketplace.
- Site visits. We help you plan a visit to the resorts on your shortlist.
- Rooming changes. A guest adds a child, swaps dates or needs a second room: that comes to us, not to you.
- Travel. Guest travel questions and airport and hotel transfer coordination.
- Resort issues. When something is wrong with a booking, a bill or a promise, we take it up with the resort.
- Making sure the resort sets it up right. Your spaces, schedule, decor plan and menus, confirmed with the resort in writing, so what you booked is what gets built.
- Your guest tools. An RSVP site with your booking link and, once your deposit is placed, a shared photo album.
- 24/7 virtual support during your wedding.
- A final bill review, line by line, so every free room, upgrade and credit you earned is on it.
What does free planning not include?
Day-of coordination. Free planning does not put a person on site to run your vendors, your guests and the timeline on the day itself. Your resort planner runs the resort’s side of your events; an on-site coordinator of our own, physically present on your wedding day, is a separate service at an additional fee. Ask us for a quote and we will price it for your events.
How can planning be free?
Resorts pay us a commission when your wedding and room block confirm, the same way hotels have always paid travel agencies. That money comes from the resort’s marketing budget, not from your rate. Our group rates come from contracts we signed directly, and they are usually sharper than what you would get calling the resort yourself.
The only money we ever take from you is a $500 deposit, and every dollar of it is credited toward your venue booking. Our whole arrangement is published here, in plain English.
Who does the work?
We do. WeddingPlan360 helps you plan a destination wedding from A-Z. We care to truly advocate for our couples every step of the way. Here is what A-Z looks like when one team does it all, and here is the checklist we run it on.
Frequently asked questions
Why is it free?
Resorts pay us a commission when your wedding and room block confirm. It comes from their budget, not your rate, so we charge you no planning fee.
What is the $500 deposit for?
It starts our work together, and every dollar is credited toward your venue booking. It is not a fee we keep on top.
What does free planning not include?
Day-of coordination on site: a person physically present to run vendors, guests and the timeline on your wedding day. We offer it as a separate service. Ask us for a quote.
Do you mark up room rates to earn more?
No. Our contracted group rates are backed by our published price match promise, which would be impossible to keep if we padded rates.
